Cyber Security and Privacy Ecosystem Summits
 
Universities have been given the following task in our country's national Cyber Security Strategy: "To carry out actions aimed at bringing a culture of cyber security to all segments of society, from institution managers to computer user citizens". In this context, as Boğaziçi University Cyber Security Center, we carried out the following activities:
 
 
  1. By organizing the first "SOMEs in Turkey and Domestic Solutions in Cyber Security Workshop" in Bogazici University on May 8, 2017, it brought together the public, private sector, TUBITAK and academy to support the formation of a local national ecosystem.
  2. On November 7, 2017, we organized an event called “Technical Dimensions of the Personal Data Protection Law” at Demir Demirgil Hall and 150 people attended.
  3. In order to be recognized in the legal world, we held the "Digital Evidence in Mobile Devices" event in cooperation with the Istanbul Bar Association at Demir Demirgil Hall on May 11, 2017. There was a participation of 120 people.
  4. We wanted to raise awareness in the field of cyber security within the framework of the newly enacted Personal Data Protection Law in our country by organizing the "Bosphorus Domestic-National Solutions for Protection of Personal Data" for the second time in our country on May 8, 2018 at Albert Long Hall at our university. There was a participation of 300 people.
  5. It has planned to provide support for the formation of a domestic national eco system by bringing together the public, private sector, TUBITAK and academy by organizing the "Indigenous Solutions Summit for Bosphorus Cyber Security and KVKK" for the third time in cooperation with the Turkish Cyber Security Cluster on October 9, 2018 at Boğaziçi University.
  6. An event for the Energy Sector called “IT Managers in the Energy Sector” was held at Nafi Baba Building on May 17, 2017. There was a participation of 80 people.
  7. We wanted to raise awareness in the field of cyber security within the framework of the newly enacted Personal Data Protection Law in our country by organizing the "Bosphorus Personal Data and Cyber Security Summit" at Albert Long Hall on March 1, 2018 at our university. There was a participation of 300 people.
  8. We wanted to raise awareness in the field of cyber security within the framework of the newly enacted Personal Data Protection Law in our country by organizing the "Bosphorus KVKK and Domestic Solutions for Cyber Security Summit" on October 9, 2018 at Albert Long Hall at our university. There was a participation of 400 people.
  9. We wanted to raise awareness in the field of cyber security within the framework of the newly enacted Personal Data Protection Law in our country by organizing the "Bosphorus KVKK and Cyber Security Ecosystem Summit" at our university on March 28, 2019 at Albert Long Hall. There was a participation of 400 people.
  10. We wanted to raise awareness in the field of cyber security within the framework of the newly enacted Personal Data Protection Law in our country by organizing the "Bosphorus KVKK and Cyber Security Ecosystem Summit" at our university on October 10, 2019 at Albert Long Hall. There was a participation of 450 people.
  11. We wanted to support both students and those who want to advance in the field of cyber security in a career by organizing the "Bosphorus KVKK and Cyber Security Career Summit" online at our university on May 29, 2020.
  12. As BÜSiBER, we held a conference at Boğaziçi University on September 9, 2022, on the last day of the Cyber Security Summer Camp and Conference, with the support of the Turkey Cyber Security Cluster. There was a participation of 500 people.
